The QR Code®, a success story. Never before could so much information be so cleverly combined into a single small digitally readable code. "QR" thus became a synonym for the most efficient data information.
Since its creation 20 years ago by DENSO, several further variants of the QR Code® have been developed to meet the needs of special applications. The Micro QR Code is particularly small, the iQR Code can be displayed not only as a square but also as a rectangle, and the SQRC® can even contain protected, private information whose readership is determined by the user. Finally, the LogoQ even allows companies to integrate their company logo into the QR Code.
In the IoT environment, too, there are complex areas of application for two-dimensional coding in order to obtain an effective overall solution.
Planning and Implementation

Encryption with SQRC
With the Secure QR Code (SQRC), DENSO has created a secure option for mobile data recording. Data content or parts of data can be hidden from third parties. If an SQRC® is illegally copied or manipulated by a discount coupon, a payment code or an admission ticket, only the public data is transferred. The hidden data can only be decrypted by the originator of the QR codes with the aid of an appropriate reader.
With the use of SQRC, for example for admission tickets or visitor management, there is a considerable savings potential compared to the use of magnetic or RFID cards.

Individual encryption of QR Codes
We have suitable solutions to protect QR codes according to your individual requirements. This type of encryption involves the conversion of data from a readable format into an encrypted format, which can only be read or processed again after decryption.
