Since there are still no central international standards in the IoT landscape, IoT projects are often accompanied by different radio standards and data protocols. Frequently encountered "standards" are Bluetooth, BLE, LoRa, Sigfox, Zigbee, GSM, 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, NB-IoT but also own formats are often used.

WavePointer BRIDGE helps here with a central problem solution. The BRIDGE can read a large number of IoT standards, convert them to another format and then transfer them to a data endpoint.

Individual communication or device variants can be created by us and delivered by arrangement. As an experienced agency for microelectronics we have 100% access to the components and the firmware of our devices. Since we are also connected to professional manufacturing networks in Eastern Europe and Asia, we can supply devices in small or very large batch sizes.

The WavePointer BRIDGE is suitable for installation in objects ex works or for simple retrofitting. The BRIDGE can be connected to an existing power source or operated with a battery or rechargeable battery. The use of the Ultra-Low-Energy construction guarantees a long operation of the devices independent of the power supply.

After data verification, the collected information can then be safely forwarded to defined endpoints/data memories via 2G/3G/4G/LTE/5G or other methods. This can be a WavePointer CLOUD or other systems such as Actility, Loriot, SAP HANA, Microsoft Azure, Google CLOUD, IBM Watson, Amazon or individual customer systems.

This means that information can be securely received, quickly evaluated and processed at any time and from any location.

Flexible power supply and secure data transmission

A WavePointer BRIDGE monitors defined transmitters in a defined environment and reliably collects all incoming information. A buffer memory ensures that all data is transferred completely and securely to defined data memories. 


In order to guarantee the greatest possible independence, a BRIDGE can be operated with a power connection, battery or rechargeable battery. This means that a BRIDGE can also be used in locations that have no power source or only a power source that is difficult to access.

The BRIDGE is optimized for Ultra-Low-Energy (ULE) and can therefore also be operated for an extremely long period with a battery or rechargeable battery.


Connectivity Bundle

On request WavePointer offers you the connectivity services with a WavePointer device - as WavePointer Connectivity BUNDLE.

The Connectivity BUNDLE is an all-inclusive pricing model for IoT connectivity. It is a pre-paid offer to network IoT devices for up to 10 years for a one-time fee. The BUNDLE fee already includes all necessary costs and features such as data volume, SIM card, SMS, APN or VPN. WavePointer cooperates with the leading network operators to guarantee the best network quality for customers.

In addition, WavePointer offers coverage of many countries with included roaming. The BUNDLE also supports all radio standards such as 2G, 3G or 4G as well as NB-IoT and LTE-M in selected countries.
