WavePointer GATEWAY HYBRID

Bluetooth Low Energy and LoRaWAN in one gateway. 

You no longer have to choose between a Bluetooth (BLE) or a LoRa network. The WavePointer Gateway HYBRID is a powerful network router that can handle both radio standards in parallel. This combines the advantages of different transmission standards in one environment - whether for a company environment, a city or a whole country. In LoRa WAN mode, one gateway alone technically covers a radius of up to 15 km (approx. 180 km2). And thanks to the innovative hybrid technology of WavePointer, BLE data in the LoRa WAN standard can also be easily transmitted.

Thus you can use the advantages of a LoRa network at the same time with the outstanding characteristics of the Bluetooth technology. You can address and control LoRa and BLE transmitters and receive or forward their data securely.

Whether WavePointer sensors, iBeacons, Eddystone beacons, other BLE or LoRa devices - WavePoiner Gateway HYBRID reliably collects all data of such devices.

After data verification, this information is then securely forwarded via WLan, GSM/LTE or an Ethernet connection to defined endpoints/data storage devices. This can be a WavePointer CLOUD or other systems such as Actility, Loriot, SAP HANA, Microsoft Azure, Google CLOUD, IBM Watson, Amazon or individual customer systems.

 

This means that information can be securely received, quickly evaluated and processed at any time and from any location.

A WavePointer Gateway is installed and ready for operation in just a few simple steps. It can be placed visibly or in the background and effortlessly overcomes great distances.

A WavePointer Gateway monitors all transmitters in a defined environment and reliably collects all incoming information. A buffer memory ensures that all data is transmitted completely and securely to defined data memories.

Flexible applications

WavePointer Gateways can be installed individually or in groups. Depending on the size or requirements of the environment to be monitored, several devices can be used to guarantee complete results. Star and mesh scenarios are supported. And if three or more gateways are used, the position of the transmitters can be determined indoor/outdoor.
